Jennifer began her career in communications after graduating from McGill University with a Masters in Communications. She has spent the last twenty-two years working with a range of companies, both in-house, and as a consultant. Prior to forming Bloom Communications in 2004, Jennifer worked at Vancity Credit Union as a senior communications manager.
Jennifer’s work at Bloom Communications over the past twelve years has lead her to work with a wide variety of clients including The Canadian Cancer Society, The Vancouver Public Library, The BC Courthouse Society, Evergreen, City of Burnaby, The BC Dental Association, Manulife Financial and many more. Jennifer’s work with these clients has included developing and implementing strategic communication/marketing and branding solutions, promotions, employee communications, marketing and communication plans, targeted media relations and much more.
Jennifer’s clients are her best testimonials to her accredited work and abilities.
Jennifer is also committed to giving back to her community and over the years she has lent her skills to Dress for Success, Cause we Care (board member), the Canadian Public Relations Society (board member), Kids Help Phone, and many other worthwhile causes. Jennifer is an active member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, BC Chapter.
In 2012, Jennifer, along with a team of professionals, founded BabyGoRound, a registered non-profit organization that is dedicated to supplying families in need with essential baby gear and clothing.
Since 2012, BabyGoRound has assisted close to 4,500 families in the Lower Mainland obtain essential items for their families. BabyGoRound is located at 2939 Kingsway in Vancouver.
